Gift cards for aesthetic and cosmetic clinics

A thoughtful gift. A clear record.

Make gifting feel like your clinic, from the personal message to the moment it is used. Sell online or in clinic, choose when to send it and keep the remaining balance connected to billing.

Your clinic, from the first step

Make giving feel personal.

Patients and gift-givers can purchase through your clinic-branded portal. Choose an amount, provide the recipient’s details and add a message before payment.

  • For themselves or someone else

The purchase flow makes the recipient explicit, with contact details to connect the gift to the right person.

  • A familiar experience

Your clinic’s branding stays with the purchase, while the gift connects to the patient and billing record.

In-clinic purchases

The same thoughtfulness, at reception.

Create a gift card from billing for the current patient, an existing recipient or someone new. Keep the purchaser, recipient and payment together, with a choice of who receives the email.

  • Separate people, clearly

The person buying the gift does not have to be the person who uses it.

  • Choose how to share it

Your team can choose recipient and purchaser emails, including when a gift is being handed over in person.

Recipient and timing

A message for them. A moment you choose.

Send the gift now or choose a later date. Online scheduled gifts are set for 8 am in the clinic’s time zone; your team can review and change a future delivery from the card record.

Choose the day.
Keep the thought.

A future send date gives the gift its own moment.

Write the personal part

A message stays with the recipient’s gift, so it feels like it came from the person who chose it.

Keep future delivery manageable

Staff can reschedule a future send with a date and time, or cancel its schedule. Scheduled means planned to send, rather than proof it reached an inbox.

Gift-card promotions

Give a little more. Keep the numbers clear.

Create flat, percentage or stepped bonus-value offers, with a brand, date range and purchase limits. Choose whether an offer is available online, and keep the clinic-funded bonus separate from the amount paid.

Set the qualifying spend and promotional value, with a code for an online offer.

  • Paid amount and gift value

In this example, a $250 purchase receives $50 of bonus value. The recipient has $300 to use; the clinic has received $250.

Connected to billing

One visit does not have to use it all.

Find the gift card by its barcode in the payment selector. Review the owner, expiry and available balance, then choose the amount to apply to the invoice.

Use the amount needed

The amount is limited by the card’s available balance and what is owing on the invoice.

Leave the remainder connected

A $120 payment from a $300 gift leaves $180 available. The card record keeps the debit alongside the earlier credits.

A record your team can explain

The balance comes with its history.

Open the card to see available and initial balances, purchaser or recipient, barcode, status and expiry. Transaction history records credits and debits, including promotional credit and the person responsible where available.

  • Context at hand

Answer a question about the remaining balance without piecing together separate messages.

  • Permissioned changes

Expiry editing follows the user’s permission and the card’s status. Delivery actions remain part of the same card record.

Reporting and review

What remains. What was used.

Two views answer two different questions. Gift Cards shows outstanding balances now. Gift Card Redemptions shows the value used against invoices over a selected period.

Outstanding value is a snapshot

The Gift Cards report includes positive balances on active and expired cards, grouped by currency. It has a location filter and no sale-date filter.

Redemptions have a date

Review when gift value paid an invoice, where it was used and how much was applied. This activity is separate from the amount originally paid for a gift.

Trust and compliance

Keep the gift and its value clear.

Bring the details your team needs into the record, with deliberate actions around payment, expiry and delivery.

Bonus value is recorded as promotional credit. It does not become additional money received.
Redemption has clear limits
The payment selector checks the available balance and the invoice’s amount owing before confirmation.
Changes follow permissions and status
Expiry changes require the relevant permission and an active card. Future delivery schedules can be reviewed and changed.

Your questions, answered

FAQs

Explore purchasing, delivery and redemption around the way your clinic works.

Can gift cards be purchased online and in clinic?

Yes. The clinic-branded portal includes amount, recipient and payment steps. Your team can also create a gift card through billing, with purchaser, recipient, payment and email options.

Can someone buy a gift for another person?

Yes. Online purchasers can choose themselves or someone else. The recipient flow captures name, email, mobile number and a personal message. The mobile number helps connect the gift to an existing recipient file where one is found. Staff can choose an existing recipient or add someone new.

Can a gift be scheduled for a later date?

Yes. The online flow offers send now or a later date. Scheduled portal gifts are set for 8 am in the clinic’s time zone. Staff can reschedule a future delivery with a date and time, or cancel the schedule. A scheduled time is not confirmation that the recipient received the email.

Can patients use only part of their gift card?

Yes. At invoice payment, the team looks up the gift card by barcode and chooses the amount to use. The amount cannot exceed the available balance or the invoice amount owing. The remaining value stays on the card, with a transaction recorded for the amount used.

Can we offer bonus gift-card value?

Yes. Promotions support flat, percentage and stepped bonus value, with a clinic brand, date range and purchase limits. Online offers use a promotion code. The amount paid and the clinic-funded bonus are recorded separately, so gift value is not confused with money received.

Can our team review transactions and change expiry?

The gift-card detail shows balance, status, barcode, purchaser or recipient, expiry and transaction history. Expiry editing requires the relevant permission and an active card. Your clinic remains responsible for its gift-card terms and expiry decisions.

How do outstanding balances and redemptions differ in reporting?

Gift Cards is a point-in-time report of outstanding positive balances on active and expired cards, with currency and location context. It does not use a sale-date filter. Gift Card Redemptions is a separate dated report of gift value used to pay invoices. Neither should be treated as the cash received from selling gift cards in that period.
