Treatment packages for aesthetic and cosmetic clinics

Keep every package session connected.

Build treatment packages for your aesthetic clinic, offer them through your branded patient portal and keep remaining sessions, balances and redemptions together. Your team can see what is included and what comes next.

Build the package around your clinic’s offer.

Combine treatment and product inclusions, or create groups that let the clinic choose from defined options. Set quantities, prices and validity in the package, then control where it can be purchased or booked.

  • Defined inclusions and choices

Use all-item or choice-based groups to describe the package your team sells. Keep each item and its quantity visible.

  • A clear public description

Give online packages a patient-facing name and description, separate from the internal package name.

  • Clinic-controlled channels

Configure invoice purchase and online availability. Online booking has its own audience, brand, location and timing settings.

Let patients purchase through your branded portal.

When online package purchasing is enabled for your clinic, patients can browse the packages you offer, sign in and pay in full with a saved or new card. A successful purchase creates the connected patient package. Booking the appointment remains a separate step.

  • Your clinic’s patient experience

Show your package name, description and price in the clinic-branded patient portal. Online payments and the package storefront need to be configured.

  • The appropriate next step

With post-purchase booking enabled, the confirmation can direct the patient to a session, package appointment or consultation, or explain that the clinic will arrange the next step.

Purchase the course in your portal.

The patient reviews the package and payment method. A purchase creates entitlements, not an appointment.

Configure the booking separately.

This fixed consultation and assessment example uses its own audience, location and duration settings.

Make the booking path match the package.

Show compatible online packages to everyone, new or existing patients, or patients whose treatment history or plan matches the package. These audience rules apply to booking, separately from the portal storefront.

  • A supported appointment structure

Whole-package online booking requires fixed quantities of specific treatment options. It creates one appointment using the package’s configured duration and optional deposit.

  • Keep a course distinct from an appointment

Choice groups and product inclusions are not eligible for whole-package online booking. Buying a multi-session course does not automatically schedule all its visits.

Their remaining sessions. Their next step.

With My packages enabled, signed-in patients can see the packages they hold, their remaining sessions and use-by dates in your branded portal. Eligible treatments offer a Book action; other inclusions direct the patient back to your clinic.

  • Current and past packages

Keep active packages separate from expired or fully used packages. Patients can see what remains without asking reception to reconstruct their balance.

  • A deposit that reflects eligible prepaid care

When prepaid-package deposit handling is enabled, no additional deposit is required when fully paid package credits cover every selected treatment and remain valid on the appointment date. Otherwise, the usual deposit rules apply. Future appointments do not reserve package credits.

The next visit starts with what is left.

Open the patient’s package to see remaining quantities, owing balance and the invoices behind each redemption. Keep the front desk and practitioners working from the same package history, even when a different team member sees the patient next.

  • Sessions beside the financial context

Review purchased and remaining quantities alongside paid, owing, recognised and deferred amounts. A package’s active status is separate from whether it is fully paid.

  • Exceptions with a record

Authorised staff can handle eligible refunds, forfeits and reversals through package workflows. The linked activity and invoices remain available to review.

See the package commitments across your clinic.

The Packages dashboard in Financial reporting brings outstanding value and remaining items together. Review package liability by location and brand, look at owing balances and see which packages are running near empty.

  • From one patient to the wider picture

Use package and item detail, top packages and customer-level views to understand where outstanding value sits.

  • A useful question to investigate

Ask the DappleAI Insights Agent which packages hold the largest deferred revenue, then review the underlying package records with your team.

Authorised changes
Package creation and billing changes are permission-controlled. Your clinic decides who can manage the offer and its financial exceptions.
Traceable package history
Review purchases, redemptions and eligible reversals alongside the associated invoices and payments.
Clear availability
Online purchase and booking depend on your clinic’s configuration and the package’s supported structure. Review the intended patient journey during setup.
Clinical decisions stay with practitioners
A package records the agreed inclusions. It does not assess suitability or replace the practitioner’s decision about care. Your clinic remains responsible for patient terms and communication.

FAQs

How can DappleOS make treatment packages easier to manage?

Package inclusions, remaining sessions, owing balances and redemption history stay connected to the patient and invoice workflow. Your team can check what remains before the next visit without maintaining a separate entitlement spreadsheet, while the Packages dashboard provides the clinic-wide view.

How are packages different from memberships?

A one-off package contains defined treatments or products to be used over its life. Memberships manage an ongoing programme and its billing or benefit cycle. DappleOS supports both, with separate workflows so you can choose the structure that fits your clinic’s offer.

Can our packages include products and a choice of treatments?

Yes. The package builder supports treatment and product inclusions, quantities and all-item or choice-based groups. That flexibility does not mean every package is eligible for whole-package online booking, which requires fixed quantities of specific treatment options.

Can patients buy packages online and book their visits?

Patients can buy enabled packages through your clinic-branded portal when online package purchasing, the storefront and online payments are configured. They sign in and pay in full. Purchase does not schedule every visit. A compatible fixed-treatment package can be booked as one appointment with its own duration and optional deposit; choice groups and product inclusions are not supported for whole-package booking. Where post-purchase booking is enabled, confirmation offers the appropriate next step for the package and clinic configuration.

Can patients see and book their remaining package sessions?

With My packages enabled, signed-in patients can view their own packages, remaining sessions and use-by dates in your branded portal. Eligible treatments offer a Book action; other inclusions are arranged with the clinic. Current and past packages stay separate, and starting a booking does not confirm an appointment.

Will patients need another deposit for a prepaid package visit?

Where prepaid-package deposit handling is enabled, no additional deposit is required when fully paid, active package credits cover every selected treatment and remain valid on the appointment date. Partial coverage and part-paid packages follow the usual deposit rules. Future appointments do not reserve those credits, so your team still checks the remaining balance when it is used.

Can our team see remaining sessions and handle changes?

Yes. The patient package shows purchased and remaining quantities, paid and owing amounts, activity and linked invoices. Authorised staff can use eligible refund, forfeit and reversal workflows. Active package status does not mean the balance has been fully paid, and your clinic remains responsible for package terms.

What can we report on, and what should we bring to a demo?

The Packages dashboard in Financial reporting includes package liability, location and brand breakdowns, owing balances, top packages, near-empty packages and item-level detail. Bring an example of your package inclusions, payment terms and patient booking journey to a demo so the team can show how the workflow would fit your aesthetic clinic.
