We're taking it a little bit further now, and this is really exciting personally for me, because this is coming out soon, is that we're going to be putting in performance management into the system. So, you know, it's one thing to understand your data and know where the opportunities are. It's another thing to drive a high performing team. So what is that? So a rhythm that I put in place in clinics is a monthly performance management meeting, PDM. Now I actually call it a professional development meeting because it's a little bit more palatable than performance development. It is. Yeah, that sounds scary. It sounds like a test.

0:33

And truly it is professional development because in that is also competency. It's whether I'm clinically competent to my full scope of practice, whether I'm consultatively competent to my full scope of practice. So we're pulling that plus your KPIs, plus your actual values-based behaviour all into one place, supporting you in having these monthly performance meetings. And of course, Dapple has all of that data on hand. So it's really enabling clinics to put in a program that I put into all of the clinics that I go into as HT&K. It's enabling them to have that program at their fingertips as well. And then guiding, also we're putting in sort of tips and guidance as the person providing the constructive feedback and driving that performance within the clinic, some feedback and some assistance in how do I do that as well. So it's very consultative, not just helping you to help those clinicians, but essentially helping you be the leader you need to be.

1:36

And I'll just add in there, that's where AI really shines in this feature too, right? Because you can imagine then, you know, I think when any of us opened our clinic, we never really thought that we'd have to wear 25 different hats. And then when you then talk about how do I manage a team, what do I say? How do I have this? How do I develop a team, not just manage them, actually drive high performance? How do I do that?

1:58

And what do I, like, what's the conversation I have? So that's where really Dapple AI shines is in this feature. I actually then have advice as, you know, as a manager or as an owner having these conversations, what should I touch on? What am I missing? And then also that kind of view of where is this team member at on their journey as well? What should we be monitoring? What should we be looking at? And what are they doing well? So again, we're using AI to roll this all up and also help that owner develop some skills as well, or that manager develop skills.

2:26

And that's really a quarter of a century of experience rolled into it. Yeah, totally. And I'm sure that links into the reporting side of things as well. So you can pull a report based off those KPIs. Very much. And you know, when you think about it, right, you need to be [unclear] capability outside of professional development anyway. And also we need to be able to track CPD. You know, every clinician has a requirement to do CPD. So we can track that now. Those KPIs feed into performance management features. You have these objective and subjective measures coming in.

2:54

And yeah, I think I'm the same. I'm very excited about this feature. I'm really excited about that. You've linked into my next part. We've talked a lot about where clinics are at today. So I want to finish by looking ahead more specifically into the industry, where you think the industry is going. This is exciting. And what you think clinic owners should know and what they should do to get prepared for those changes.

3:17

What we're seeing, and you know, we've been seeing this for a while, but it's really converging now, is the convergence of aesthetics, wellness, longevity, men's and women's health. All of this is converging and even wellness. Like, you know, looking up, you know, I think of the gym I go to, I go to the steam room, I go to the sauna, I go to the cold plunge, the hot plunge. And there's a convergence of all of this happening. And what we're now seeing is our customers want to do that.

3:48

So where we're going with Dapple and got a really exciting three, six, 12 months ahead is converging all of this. I'll give you a little preview is our treatment planning feature won't be known as treatment planning anymore. It's going to be known as planning. So, you know, if we think of GLP-1s, if we think of performance medicine, there's a lot more we could be doing than just looking at singular treatments. Yeah, absolutely.

4:13

Um, I also think too, there's, if we talk about telehealth, there's an opportunity for all of our customers in the wider ecosystem, GPs, skin cancer, women's and men's health to offer their services online, but they lack the system to do that. And the system that gives a great experience, but those guys, those clinics are well positioned because they've got a physical presence. And I think we really truly believe the future of telehealth is hybrid medicine where you can offer in clinic and online because A, it's clinically safe. You're going to, if you need to put someone on a GLP-1, you can bring them in, you can do their measurements, you can take their blood pressure, it's safe, but then you can continue that online. And where we're heading with Dapple is giving you the fantastic clinical system to do that.

5:02

Watch out allied health. Yeah, absolutely. Look, I totally agree. I think that's where it's going. It's going to, it's going towards living, ageing well, ageing well, living well, ageing well. That's definitely where our industry is. It isn't so much about repairing damage. It's more about that proactiveness. And that, and that, and what we're seeing in clinics is that they are offering so much more than just aesthetics. For Dapple, the future is definitely also moving into dermatology, plastic surgery, that makes sense for us. Skin cancer, and certainly servicing these longevity and wellness clinics as well. So, so that's sort of, that's where the industry's going. That's, that's where we're going. But it is definitely, it's, it's a fast paced industry that we're in at the moment. And, you know, with AI, everything changes so quickly. And we look, we have a team who are, who are ready to go and are just constantly evolving with it as well. So I think for clinic owners, they need to be adaptable. Adaptable, yeah. Because, because the needs of their clientele are changing so much. So they need to be open to being adaptable and their systems just have to keep up with them. Amazing. I want to finish off now, just more so of a little quick fire, put you, put you both on the spot. You both owned and run businesses. And I know a lot of our listeners will be business owners. So if you could go back and give yourself one piece of business advice, what would it be? Luke, I'm going to start with you. Oh, this is a tough one on the spot.

6:42

Look, it's long-term thinking. I think it's really hard when you're a business owner and you're deep in the trenches, you know, you're doing the same thing day in, day out, you're doing it seven days a week. It's just being able to really stop and pause and zoom out a little bit and look on the medium and long-term. And it's a skill you always perfect. You think you're good at it. And then, you know, you get a new challenge and you've got to just kind of stop. Sometimes you don't do that straight away. Sometimes you've got to kind of do that and then stop, step out and kind of look medium and long-term because, you know, sometimes you want to keep in mind or you want to always keep in mind where you're going, make sure you're always aligned to that. And it's a skill you're always perfecting. Yeah. Always developing.

7:22

And just persevere. Like I know this is probably quicker, harder to say, but perseverance, because look, it's hard. It's not easy. And no one's really, you know, no one's path is the same. You know, some days it's up, down, up, sideways. Yeah, yeah, absolutely. Yeah. Well, I agree with you on both points actually, but definitely that being able to step out of your business and work on your business. And that's what I do a lot as a consultant is that, you know, where are we on now? Are we on track? So it's that accountability. It's so easy as a business owner to just get caught in the minutia of the day to day, client, client, client. And actually to think the only path to growth is more work with my hands, like physically just get in there or drive more revenue without taking that moment to, or that time literally out of your week.

8:08

And for some of my clients, it's the hour they spend with me is to, is to spend time literally on the business where we're looking at what's happening now. What do we need to do? Are we aligned to our vision, our goals, our short and longer term goals so that we're constantly heading in the right direction? So I think my, not to steal yours, but I totally agree with it. The other thing I would definitely say is high performance mindset. So having that high performance mindset, so you don't get locked into that sort of the day to day minutiae and high performers know their numbers, they know their business and they have clear direction. So it's just having that high performance mindset. And that's where you can use Dapple AI to pull it out.

8:50

That's a corny point to end with. I think what's that word they say? Working on it, not in it. That's exactly it. And I think, you know, in particularly in medicine, anything in the clinical space, we're used to earning money from our time. Physical time. And what you want to really do is establish a business in which you can earn money without putting your physical exertion into that. Because you don't want to be doing that forever. You can't. You want to establish a great business, a great team that you have the systems and framework to let them flourish. And, you know, you can step back a little bit and enjoy all the hard work.

9:23

Yeah. And in order to do that, you need vision. You need to see, you need to know what's happening in your business. And so that comes down to a good system. Trying to think of any more corny jokes I can make, but no. Amazing. Well, thank you so much both for your time. Thank you. It was lovely having you in here and yeah, some very good insights there and very exciting times ahead for DappleOS. Sure is. Thanks. Thanks for having us.
